I, the undersigned parent/legal guardian, confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participating child and voluntarily consent to my child participating in the Defender Kiddy Ride activity.
The activity involves operating a child-sized electric Defender vehicle through a designated and controlled obstacle course under the supervision of designated personnel.
Children aged six (6) and below must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children aged seven (7) to twelve (12) may operate the vehicle independently. The maximum weight limit for each Defender Kiddy Ride is 180kg.
For the safety of the participating child, we strongly recommend that all participants wear appropriate attire for the activity.
Proper, fully enclosed footwear must be worn to protect the child's feet. Flip-flops, slippers, sandals and other open footwear are not permitted.
Participants should also avoid wearing long, loose or flowy dresses, skirts, scarves or other loose clothing that may become caught in the vehicle's wheels or moving parts.
The event organiser and/or activity personnel reserve the right to refuse or stop participation if a child is wearing footwear or clothing that is considered unsuitable or unsafe.
By allowing a child to participate, the parent/legal guardian acknowledges and accepts responsibility for ensuring that the child is appropriately and safely dressed. Where a child participates despite wearing inappropriate footwear or clothing, the parent/legal guardian agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Wearnes Automotive Pte Ltd, its parent company, affiliates, officers, employees, agents and representatives from any injury, loss, damage, claim, cost or expense arising from or in connection with such inappropriate attire, to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law.
I acknowledge and understand that participation in the activity may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to loss of control of the vehicle, sudden movement or stopping, collision with obstacles or other persons, falling from the vehicle, minor injuries, damage to personal belongings, and other risks associated with participating in a vehicle-based obstacle activity.
I understand and voluntarily accept these risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen.
I acknowledge that participation is voluntary and that I am responsible for ensuring that my child understands and follows all safety instructions provided by the event organiser and activity personnel.
I understand that I may withdraw my consent for my child to participate at any time before or during the activity.
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, I hereby release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wearnes Automotive Pte Ltd, its parent company, affiliates, officers, employees, agents and representatives from any claims, demands, damages, liabilities, costs or expenses arising out of or in connection with:
I acknowledge that I may be held financially responsible for any damage to vehicles, equipment or property resulting from negligence, misuse or failure to comply with instructions.
In the event of illness or injury, I authorise the organiser to arrange for medical treatment as deemed necessary. I accept full responsibility for any associated medical costs incurred.
I consent to the use of photographs, video recordings or other media captured during the event for marketing, promotional or editorial purposes, without compensation or prior approval.
By agreeing to these terms, I confirm that I have read and understood this acknowledgement, indemnity and liability waiver in its entirety and agree to be bound by its terms.
