Land Rover Expeditions
Following the inaugural Desert Crossing Expedition in Oman, 2010 saw Land Rover's follow-on with a second expedition, this time through the mountains and rivers of Northern Morocco. For 2011, Land Rover Expeditions has announced two new premium adventure holiday destinations – Catalonia and Botswana.
Catalonia is the first compact 'Adventure' programme – a four day trip based in the mountainous region of Catalonia, home to the Spanish Land Rover Experience Centre. Guests will have the opportunity to drive on challenging off-road terrain, steep climbs, narrow gullies, hill trails and forest in the visually stunning surroundings of the Montserrat Mountains. The Botswana Expedition is a dramatic eight day journey from one of two locations – the first begins in Maun and travels through the Okavango Delta to Victoria Falls, the second is the return trip (Victoria Falls to Maun). Guests will navigate the demanding landscape of the Chobe National Park and Moremi Game Reserve, with the opportunity to relax every evening in beautiful lodges surrounded by the abundant African wildlife and breathtaking surroundings.
